Artacho Women's Club, 1947

This was unearthed from the depths of OMom's 'baul', and it is a gem. See if you recognize any of these beautiful ladies.

Of course, when you talk of beautiful ladies, my mom and lola will be on the list :-D (front row, third from the right). Where is your lola?

Oh no, not me saying Kalipi. Don't know that hahaha. Could be Eva and that's her Mom Auntie Estela, I think.

My mother is just Senior Citizen Pres. -Sagunto. She was vice pres. when Uncle Esdras, Pres. passed away.

That shows how active your grandmas were. My late grandma, Felisa La Madrid grew up as a devout Catholic in Tubao, La Union. Her parents were from Tagudin, Ilocos Sur...you know the La Madrids known for big properties there...ironically, my grandma died poor. My Nanay now is beginning to be involved hahaha. I think she's learning through Auntie Estela's leadership.
