Last December of 2006, the Castillo Clan got together at the home of Emma Castillo in Sagunto for a short reunion. See any familiar faces?

Photo#6 most already id’d but you can see Uncle Bernardo (Narding) better but not quite. The old man with the hat also lives in Ilocos (mom forgot his name but is the husband of Aida). You can see Lorna and Shela Lee better in this photo.
Mom said soon after this photo was taken they all went back to Ilocos to continue the party at the old man’s house and he was running errands trying to get food n stuff for the party and he got into an accident. They had to amputate parts of his feet. Am wondering if that’s Kelley’s wife and kids? Maybe Ems would know. BTW, mom said it wasn’t kalding they butchered for this party it was a whole cow. YEAH! A goat can’t feed all the Castillo clan!

Oh my, I'm beginning to worry...if today I'm struggling to keep fit and slender, a few more years... and I really have to give up shedding more weight; could be useless...it runs in the family. SIGH. And see, no matter where they are, UK, USA, or Phil. they show same "Peterbuilt" body. I think I'd better stay in Japan and keep eating sushi!

haha!! that's right. We were in Agoo that day and were rushing to come back, but by the time we came back everyone was on their way home already :(

As I said it's been ages since I last saw her.I can't even remember what she looks like anymore. I've got a photo of her carrying me when i was 6 months old. Just to remind everyone that this is just a portion of the Castillo clan, particularly just 1/5 of the Pecdasen-Castillo clan. Other cousins of this clan are also Castillos, so imagine how big this clan is. How serious are you being Bago? Our Bago forefathers insisted we need to find up to our sixth cousins. How far have you gone with meeting up with relatives? I could name only up to 3rd cousins.The Castillos in daya and laud, Artacho.

Yep, those 2 babies are both mine. Hubby and I got started VERY late in having kids (I was 36 when Josie was born). At least I'll know what I'll be doing at retirement age----driving them to school!! Hahahaha!!!
Seriously though, I feel very blessed to have these two little ones, they've taught me a lot.

Evs, one reason kano ket "you'd know who not to marry" hahaha. I remember one cousin's frustration upon knowing his crush was his third cousin hahaha. The number one reason is "you'd know who to help or rely on daw ...up to your sixth cousins. Dayta kano ti one characteristic ti Bago. We, Babot and Nette are second cousins...our Castillo thirds are in DAYA and LAUD, fourth to sixth, don't know anymore. Let's meet our Pecdasen fourth cousins in Labayug, and our fifth and sixth in San Emilio Ilocos Sur. Sorry sisters, not done with our small family tree yet ;-(. I don't want to trace our other roots on La Madrid side in Tagudin...they're rich and... ;-(

Marigatanak pay ketdi a ti Bongog line ta addo ti members. Hilig gamin ni laki mi idi ti ag-adopt ti nephews and nieces na but still in the Bongog line. Hubby is just amazed at the number of relatives that I have and are close to.

Talking about CYF, this year from June is the 100th year of North Central Luzon Conference. Pastor Doods Gano and Atty. Modong Laigo have just informed me of their plans for the whole year activities. They have convinced me to host our 1990's batch of CYF Reunion. Sabi ko I hosted a mini reunion 8 yrs ago when Joji was baptized. So this July or August maybe (Joji will celebrate his 8th birthday in July), I'll encourage our Artacho CYF/CYAF host this REUNION event hoping we could push the younger CYF be more active. This year, there's no CYF summer camp, SIGH. We could have shown support a lot earlier. Anyways, we still have a chance. Roselee, and Paz, if you could send your "messages" for that reunion event, I'd be happy to add them in the program.
