Last December of 2006, the Castillo Clan got together at the home of Emma Castillo in Sagunto for a short reunion. See any familiar faces?

Photo#2 girl in-front of Aunty Diana Chloe, behind Helen is Oman,(don’t know the 2 girls next to him and Aunt Tessie) the two girls partially covered are Lorna Benonsa and Sheila Lee, Auntie Wilma's daughter. Aunt Flora in front of Tessie next to Uncle Japon and Eman, Auntie Tessie's daugher is next to her partially covered by her hand. Behind uncle japon is Uncle Bernardo Castillo (blocked by Uncle Eliseo Bancua) tall kid w/hat next to Uncle Narding is Kelley don’t know the kid in front of him, then lady w/blue top green pants is Aunty Juling, wife of Uncle Felino. Sitting w/purse is Aunty Pacing, Ester and don’t know the kids.

Photo #3 &4 mom said these kids are relatives from Ilocos who came to join the party

Photo#5 Uncle Honesto with Jun-jun Estal’s kids

Photo#6 most already id’d but you can see Uncle Bernardo (Narding) better but not quite. The old man with the hat also lives in Ilocos (mom forgot his name but is the husband of Aida). You can see Lorna and Shela Lee better in this photo.

Mom said soon after this photo was taken they all went back to Ilocos to continue the party at the old man’s house and he was running errands trying to get food n stuff for the party and he got into an accident. They had to amputate parts of his feet. Am wondering if that’s Kelley’s wife and kids? Maybe Ems would know. BTW, mom said it wasn’t kalding they butchered for this party it was a whole cow. YEAH! A goat can’t feed all the Castillo clan!

    Bayanihan

One of the great things about a small town is the camaraderie and cooperation found among the people. Where else can you throw a big party like a wedding and everyone comes out to help? What do you remember about times like this?
