The Sagunto Star is a revival of the first ever newsletter in Sagunto. Marifaye Ann Barillo Macaalay celebrated her 13th birthday at the Annunciation Church Hall, London, on January 27, 2007. Thanks to her mom, Roselee for sharing the photos and giving all Saguntonians an opportunity to share the happy occasion and view familiar faces.

Oh Ading Marifaye, how beautiful you are! You had a very lovely birthday celebration. Thanks for sharing it with us. Did you save the top tier of your cake for your 18th? It's so nice that there are so many of you there in the UK to share in the celebrations. As for us in the US, we're so spread out and far from each other we seldom get to see our relatives and friends from Sagunto.
Good thing for this site, now even the people in Canada, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, etc., can gather and share. This is our virtual "Abung" hehehe.

We were looking for some kids who got lost entering wrong doors coming back from the toilet...hahaha. I was on a short vacation in UK that time. It's hard but if you could scan that picture of ours taken almost a decade ago and send it to me, I'd throw you a flying kiss.I think I've seen your 2004 birthday in Cinderella gown but I forgot who sent me.I was looking for the same face last December but you did not go home to Sagunto, right? thanks! you still remember me lots of times am so upset since sagunto folks at your age doesn't know me since I left for the seminary have my church works and have a family we just go to sagunto for a quick visit and attending family affair like that and whenever I introduce myself that am from Sagunto also older people ask sinno ti nanang mo? younger ones I told them manang dak ni Ferdie or I will say ading ko ni Jocy hahahha! its good active Churchgoers in UCCP of course know me. Yap just be submissive to God's will and HE will direct us in the right paths.
