Sagunto Star v2 pages 1 and 2
This is the second issue of the original Sagunto Star. On the front you will see the very young Richard and Geoffrey Cabras. They are all grown now, as you can see in the photos submitted earlier of the Cabras Family.
Evs brought up an interesting question for these issues of the original Sagunto Star. So please answer in the comments section of this post:
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THIS ISSUE OF THE SAGUNTO STAR CAME OUT? THIS ISSUE IS DATED JUNE/JULY 1984. IF YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE, HOW OLD WERE YOU THEN? WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?
If you have old issues of the original Sagunto Star, please share it with us at saguntophotos@gmail.com.

2007 SUKA Officers
After a general meeting and election on the 26th of May 2007, the Sagunto UK Association had a succesful inauguration night on the 16th of June 2007. Despite the short amount of time in which to organise the event, everyone showed unity and cooperation as one organization. Everyone contributed their share. A traditional foods were served and cooked by the older members and the young people did the decorations.
After the inspirational talk of our guest speaker, leaders and brilliant performers that night, We enjoyed a little dayang-dayang in the end.

Why you should donate
Why bother giving a donation when you are not even in Sagunto to take advantage of the Gangsa, Tambor and Costumes that the Tribal Council is requesting? These, the future generations of bagos, are the main reason why you should donate. Don't let our children forget their heritage. Let them learn about this part of them and embrace it. It will make them better and richer individuals when they know they are descended from a proud and magnificent culture.
One day, he could be dancing with the gangsa and tambors you helped fund. Our featured dancer is Josh, son of Dadong Q. from Korea.
Visit these previous posts regarding the Tribal Council's Request. Don't forget to send in your donations to Tribal Council Secretary, Mr. Daniel Pascua, Sagunto, Sison, Pangasinan.
Please help spread the word. Many of our kailyans still do not have access to computers or the internet, especially the older folks. Please print out the letter from the tribal council and give or send them a copy. Thank you!

DEAR ROSELEE,

Any help from you and the SUKA officials and members will be appreciated so much.

Where do you hang out?
If you are from Sagunto, you cannot walk by without stopping at one of these hangouts. Great minds are at work here where various topics are discussed from politics, religion, gossip, farming and employment to name just a few. See if you remember some of these places:
